Smith is well-known for her work on The Bernie Mac Show which she has been a host for more than seven seasons. Some of her other roles include UPN Malcolm & Eddie, CBS Nash Bridges, FOX Televisions Mart, FOX Televisions Sister, Sister, and NYPD Blue. Recent films include Roll Bounce, a Fox 2000 Film; King Ransom with New Line Cinema; Fox Searchlight Kingdom Come starring Whoopi Goldberg; Marimax The Crossing Guard with Jack Nicolson directed by Sean Penn and New Line Cinema House Party 3.
