Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa is a former leading singer for the metalcore band from Canada, The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish melody-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa (born on July 31, 1985) White-Gluz is an Canadian singer, best known for being the former lead singer and founding member in The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore band The Agonist, as well as her current role as the lead singer in Swedish death metal band Arch Enemy. Her vocal style includes both singing and growling (singing). While she is mainly associated with Metalcore and melodic death metal her appearances have included singer-in-residence for various power metal, symphonic metal and deathcore acts, such as Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf as well as performed live alongside Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz sang with the Agonist which was formerly called "Tempest" and was based in Montreal (Quebec), Canada in 2004 until 2014. White-Gluz released three albums as the singer-lead for The Agonist. Her departure came in spring 2014 when she was offered the chance to sing for Arch Enemy.
