Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a singer who plays back as well as an actress and musician. She is primarily a performer and music composer for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. She made her debut in Tamil along with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai attended National Public School. He has graduated from Women's Christian College. She's said she was an avid geek and wanted to be a psychiatrist until she completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano when she was just eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band she joined at the age of 10, established her foundation in early music and singing. She also was a theatre performer in the college she attended and was a part of several performances staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She was also the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her career in theatre by appearing in Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She was featured in the 2006 leo commercial for coffee with Shiva. She also acted in a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. She has appeared in all parts of India. The brief appearance was in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu the director asked her to join the leading female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea appeared as Kalyani an housewife, who's husband is involved in an affair. She was forced to do so. Andrea was selected for the part after Simran and Tabu both actresses were approached by producers. The film was first released in 2010. Her minor role was accepted for Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, which included a host of actors. Her Malayalam film debut alongside her role in Rajeeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in the year 2013.
