Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father and mother have both been English. She was born in the south London council estate and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned a BA in acting. During her time at the academy, she performed in several performances on stage, such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After the film's success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe played the lead role for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy that was released in 2008. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe was in the episodes in the series' initial two seasons as an regular. However, in May of 2013, it was announced that word broke that the actress would leave the show after her guest appearance on the premiere episode of its third season. She starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 to 2016. From June to July 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They've worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. The four brothers she had were also in the family: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were who were all extremely athletic, played hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means she basically grew up in parks and arenas. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She would dance. When she reached just 2 1/2 years old and a half, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. It was then that she discovered Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, at the top levels of competitions, such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop and many more. Ashley was awarded the top soloist prize at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just some.
