LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players and is frequently in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous player. James has won four NBA championships, four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second most career goals and seventh most assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times. It is a NBA record that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. The third-highest number in NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011-2018. James was picked to join the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player to ever score 10,000 or higher career points. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated him as an NBA star. A prep-to-pro, he was selected for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in 2003's NBA draft. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the best league players winning his NBA MVP Award in both 2009 and 2010. James did not win a title with Cleveland and then left Cleveland as"a "free agent" in the year 2010. The move was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
