Alison Krauss, born in Decatur in Illinois on July 23, 1971, is a well-known and wealthy Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born July 23, 1971 is an American musician and singer. Her career in music began in the early years, having won local competitions at the age of 10 and making her first recording when she was 14 years old. Signed to Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. She was a part of the group who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
